When Children Won’t Sleep Alone: Co-Sleeping

Growing up my brother and I were not allowed to sleep with our parents. At one point though I developed a very intense (and unusual) fear of E.T., yes the extraterrestrial everyone seems to adore. I would get so scared at night that I would leave my room and crawl into my younger brother’s bed. I recall sleeping in a little ball at the foot of his twin bed only to have him wake up and yell at me. He still thinks I am nuts for having done this (I also wasn’t all that young either).
